GPS uses a “high-tech and high-touch”advising and information sharing model to empower African American high school juniors, seniors, their parents and counselors during the college preparation and selection process. It guides students along these journeys via tele-mentoring, leadership conferences, and exposure to successful peers on the GPS Workplace by Facebook platform.
The Ron Brown Scholar Program (RBSP) has evolved into one of the most prestigious scholarships and leadership development programs in the country. Our expertise is in guiding talented African American Youth from society’s margins into mainstream and beyond. Since 1996, RBSP has awarded $40,000 college scholarships to exceptional African American high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to public service.
